My babies

Today I am on vacation. Vacation from my babies. They are having a splendid time in CA with their cousins. I miss them a lot, but it's nice to be able to sleep in and get some things done around the house without the littles in the way. They really make me laugh though because there was DRAMA last night when we called them. Apparently the phone drama was just that, an ACT! They were perfectly happy to do what their Aunt said, they were excited to sleep where they chose, and they were in the process of putting on jammies and brushing their teeth when we called. But as soon as they spoke to us on the phone, it was a different story. They whined, they cried, and made it seem like they didn't get to do ANYTHING they wanted to do. Why do they have to "act" on the phone like things aren't going their way? Is it because they want to make us feel guilty? Well, we don't. We know they are having fun and we know they love being there, so why do they act like it's the worst thing in the world to be there? I don't get it. It must be a kid thing.
