Hard to believe that I last wrote on my blog about 2 years ago. Since then we've changed and grown as a family, not in size, but in many other ways. We are officially Glendora residents, I've run a few more races since my last blog about one, my kids have adapted to their new life here in CA, they've gained new friends and seem to be much, much happier now than when we first moved here. I think we are all making this our home. Alexander is now a happily confirmed Catholic, Meganne has received her 1st communion, (Andrew has to wait a few more years for his next sacrament,) Stephen is working hard for his Masters degree, and me, well I continue to run and have added hiking to my list of exercise. I hike with a wonderful group of women and their dogs. So, our dogs now have a social network as well and they love it. I'm about to run my first half marathon relay, which both frightens and excites me.
We all seem to have made some wonderful friends here. I do miss my true friends back in Vegas, but having them there just makes the visits much more worthwhile.
So, even though I once feared change, I'm happy we've made the change in state, atmosphere, and life. I look forward to many, many more years here in CA and what life will bring us next.
